Break away for a few days to our romantic thatched-roof cottage for two on the Weltevrede Wine estate. The cottages lies in the heart of the Breede River Valley, some two hours drive from Cape Town.

Ons Huisie (Our Cottage), accommodation for two and Belvedere, accommodation for four is fully furnished, with linen and towels provided.  We supply  braai wood, coffee, tea, freshly baked rusks, a bottle of Weltevrede wine and grape juice.  The  whole range of Weltevrede wines can also be tasted at the tasting room.

Recreational activities on the estate include picturesque hiking trails, while fishing and swimming can be enjoyed on the Breede River. If you’d like to, you could even bring your own bicycle or canoe!

Bird watching includes a large variety of water birds.

We'd also be happy to assist you to book for golf, bowls, squash or tennis, which can be enjoyed some 6 km from the estate.
